For the time you will stay at the island it will be good to bring some tropical clothing like long trousers and long-sleeved shirts which can get wet and dry quickly. This is especialy good for the trips through the rainflorest. |

Money exchange: use the time you will have at the airport to change your US$ or € at the banks which are established at the airport. Exchanging money on the island is not so simple. Cash will earn a more favorable rate than travelers checks. |

When on the island, it is advisable to make your overseas calls as short as possible. Especially expensive are calls to cell phones. |
